Americans die from radon-related lung cancer every year.EPA estimate

You can’t see, smell, or taste radon, and it could be building up in your home right now. It’s the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and the second leading cause overall. The only way to know your level is to test.

How Radon Gets Into Your Home

Radon comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil and rock. Tap each numbered point to see where it gets in, then see how a Rogue system stops it.

Common Questions

What is radon?

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes from the breakdown of uranium in soil and rock. It’s invisible, odorless, and tasteless, and it can seep into homes through cracks in foundations, sump pits, and gaps around pipes. Over time, breathing elevated radon increases the risk of lung cancer.

How long does a test take?

A short-term professional test runs a minimum of 48 hours. We place a calibrated continuous monitor in the lowest livable level of your home, pick it up when the test is complete, and walk you through the results with no pressure and no obligation.

What do mitigation systems cost?

Every home is different. Cost depends on your foundation type, the layout, and where the system can be routed. Nationally, most systems fall in the range of a typical home repair. After testing, we give you a clear, written quote up front, with no hidden fees.

How will a radon system affect my home?

Very little, beyond lowering your radon. A system is a sealed vent pipe and a quiet, energy-efficient fan, routed as discreetly as possible through the garage, attic, or a clean exterior run. Most installs are completed in a single day.

Is radon really a concern in Northwest Indiana?

Yes. Elevated radon is found throughout Indiana, and two neighboring homes can test completely differently. The EPA recommends that every home be tested, regardless of age or location.
